Industrial gases

Industrial gases play an important role in industrial production. Thanks to their special characteristics, Quadax makes the whole range of processes more efficient, safer and more economical. Specialty gases and gas mixtures are required to have purity levels defined by specific standards. Our valves ensure that you are on the safe side.

Energy production

Energy production often involves high pressures and temperatures. Quadax valve is specially designed for such operations, from the processing of fossil fuels and biomass to other renewable energy sources and hydropower.In the field of nuclear energy our products meet the highest safety requirements.

Solar thermal energy

Temperatures up to 500°C occur. This heat is used as industrial process heat or converted into electricity via generators. The high tightness requirements at high temperatures and the properties of the carrier medium require special sealing materials. This is another area in which evidence shows that our valves are successful.

Oxygen applications

Pure oxygen is used, for example, in the chemical industry, steel industry, air separation, environmental technology, as well as mining and fuel gas mixtures. Contact with solid particulate airborne or mineral lubricants may present a risk of explosion. Our valves are specially cleaned and are available with oxygen compatible greases. High tightness and fire safe in both directions, the Quadax valve provides added safety.

LNG & LPG systems

In LNG / LPG terminals, liquid gas is stored in a cryogenic state in insulated storage tanks until further transport or regasification. The Quadax valve has repeatedly proven itself in both processes thanks to its technology. We guarantee bubble-free tightness up to minus 196°C. Flammable media and high pressures are dealt with safely by our valves meeting ISO10497, API 607 and BS 6755 standards.

Very low temperatures / cryogenic applications

Our butterfly valves are the ideal fittings for air decomposition plants and other freezing processes where high temperature differences occur. The round sealing geometry allows uniform wall thickness, thus a uniform expansion / shrinkage at temperature fluctuations. This gives the best tightness.

District heating

The transport of thermal energy in water state results in fluctuating temperatures and high pressures. Here Quadax products guarantee the plant operator reliability, efficiency and durability while ensuring full tightness.

Pulp & paper

In the production of cellulose, steam higher than 200°C and chemical additives are used depending on the process. We know the right material combination and which seal provides the most reliable results. The Quadax valve helps to lower your process costs.
